The new theme store boasts the largest scale in Korea for a single category, offering over 390,000 STEAM education items at low prices.

STEAM education refers to a creative teaching framework that integrates the five disciplines. It started as a STEM initiative in the United States, and later arts was added to the equation. Unlike the traditional lessons, this latest education trend uses fun games to learn knowledge and senses that can be applied in a daily setting. The initiative encourages children to think comprehensively and flexibly, which contributes to their creativity.

At Coupang, Customers can find all kinds of STEAM items that are popular around the world such as art supplies, blocks, remote control toys including drones, board games as well as instructive toys that can be used as tools to learn the five disciplines. Using the age categories, Customers can find toys that are right for their children. Also, Customers can easily find what they want as the collection is stocked under six other categories: science, technology, engineering, mathematics, arts and STEAM-oriented books.

Flagship items include the LEGO Boost 17101 that has been unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show 2017. This toolbox offers hands-on experience of building a robot, cat or a car. Not only that, children can also make them move through simple programming. With an educational coding robot Dash & Dot, children can learn to code while playing with the toy. Children can also learn how to count with Melissa & Doug's Wooden Abacus.

Celebrating the launch of the new theme store, Coupang offers up to 10% discount on the STEAM toys that are marked with the Rocket Delivery tag. The promotion runs through March 4, 2018.
