New service will assist government agencies to maximise value and efficiency from Oracle technology and provide best practices and advice across people, processes, and technology
SYDNEY, June 22, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC), a leading Fortune 500 global technology services provider, today announced a new advisory service designed to assist Australian State Government agencies in maximizing value from all of their Oracle investments, including on-premise software, complex multi-cloud solutions and multi-vendor environments.
With decades of experience working with state governments, DXC's team of industry specialists offer a deep understanding of current and evolving government needs and priorities. DXC has developed knowledge and understanding that will provide insights into technology options to assist with the latest product features, and craft technology roadmaps and business cases, tailored to specific agency requirements.
"For many years, DXC has helped agencies drive value from their Oracle investments, and our new advisory service is a natural progression of this. Our customers want easy access to experts who can share best practices and provide practical advice on Oracle and the complementary technologies that make up the normal IT environment," said Richard James, Director, DXC Practice for Oracle Asia Pacific. "The new DXC advisory service will provide a shared platform to bring government agencies together to exchange, learn and improve from their experiences. We see this as a game changer that will accelerate business outcomes and fast-track the path to successful delivery. "
"DXC has been supporting our Oracle EPM Cloud since 2018 when they migrated us from Hyperion, and last year they took on our Oracle ERP Cloud support. DXC's highly skilled consultants and their clear, easy to follow service management plan has helped us take advantage of the Oracle software and deliver continuous innovations and process improvements. DXC's experience has been evident as we progress our Oracle ERP improvement plan where the team has demonstrated their knowledge of the public sector and their ability to deliver system optimisation specific to the DoJ environment," said Ngoc Tran, Assistant Director Financial Governance, Corporate Services, Department of Justice (Western Australia).
To keep up with the complex and ever-changing needs of state government agencies, DXC's advisory service will provide a platform for agency representatives to engage with DXC government specialists and industry peers to mitigate impact areas, including legislative changes, ecosystem updates, complex integrations, business process improvements, organisational change, and hybrid operating models.
"Oracle has worked closely with DXC over the last three decades delivering services and offerings for our joint public sector customers. As we look forward towards a new modern workplace, Oracle and DXC are perfectly positioned to provide the insights and experience and support the next phase of digitisation in the public sector," said Oracle's Vice President and Regional MD A/NZ, Cherie Ryan.
