CHENGDU, China, Nov. 12, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- On Nov. 9, a formal cooperation was reached between Chengdu International Copyright Trading Center and Hengqin Intellectual Property Exchange during the 5th Chengdu Creativity & Design Week. In the next three years, Chengdu International Copyright Trading Center will establish licensing cooperation with Hengqin Intellectual Property Exchange in at least 1,000 quality cultural and creative IPs and products being marketed in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
To speed up the commercial transformation of creative design works, Chengdu Creativity & Design Week explored the licensing and transaction mode of creative designs and organized large face-to-face communication and negotiation meetings between professional buyers and designers, as well as design agencies and enterprises at home and abroad. As a result, Hengqin Intellectual Property Exchange, China's first financial innovation IP exchange platform, specifically sought out a number of Chendgu-related cultural symbols, such as the panda and modern art, with the aim of utilizing them to promote products in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and international countries and regions around the world.
The panda is one of the most distinctive cultural and creative IPs in Chengdu and was a favorite target of many professional buyers at this event. Professional buyers from Beijing, Qingdao, Macao, Singapore, Jordan, and others have reached cooperation agreements with creative design agencies in Chengdu, not only to introduce the panda IP into all kinds of products but also to increase its commercial value through the licensing and transaction of IP rights.
Meanwhile, many foreign cooperation projects were also reached during this event. Gaudi Asia-Pacific Research Institute (Spain) established in-depth cooperation with a Chengdu creative design agency dealing with Gaudi International IP art activities, research projects, and Gaudi Art Museum. Moreover, Estonia Piano Factory, an Estonian piano manufacturer, also contacted Chengdu's relevant agencies during this event with its plan of building a piano museum in Chengdu.
