("Gridsum" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: GSUM), a leading provider of cloud-based big-data analytics and artificial intelligence ("AI") solutions in China, today announced that it co-organized the judicial session of Tsinghua University's RONG Series Big Data Forum which took place on March 23, 2018 in Beijing. Scholars, government officials, judges, prosecutors and other professionals from across the technology and legal fields gathered at the judicial session to discuss the application of AI and big data across China's judicial system.
The RONG Series Big Data Forum was launched by the School of Data Science Research at Tsinghua University to facilitate communication and cooperation between the Chinese government, academia, and enterprises in promoting the application of big data across various fields.
Concurrently Gridsum, together with Peking University Law School, jointly published the fourth Annual Media Monitoring Report on Judicial Keywords in China in 2017. According to the report "judicial reform", "work report of the Supreme People's Court" and "law enforcement" were the three most used keywords by the Chinese media when discussing China's judicial transition from 2015 to 2017. "Smart Court" ranked as the fifth most used keyword in 2017.
