SHANGHAI, Oct. 12, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Hilton Shanghai Hongqiao today announced the appointment of Jan Jansen as Director of Business Development.

Jan joined Hilton in May this year in Business Development at Hilton Singapore. Prior to that he was with the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group - Singapore for four years, looking after the Development of new hotel properties in Asia Pacific.
A Dutch native, Jan began his hotel career in 1999 and has held positions in food & beverage, front office as well as business development.
Jan is a cum laude graduate of the Hotel Management School Leeuwarden in the Netherlands, where he attained a Bachelor degree in Hotel Management in 2002. He gained a Master of Science cum laude in Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in 2007. Jan is fluent in Dutch, English and German and he likes cooking, travelling, tennis and skiing.
