In commemoration of the 30th anniversary of the inception of "Transformers," the two partners have decided to hold not less than eight "Transformers" Expo events over the next three years.

With the partnership, One TV plans to open up an international copyright and brand resource gateway, securing further brand licensing deals in China and further deepening the development of the sector. As one of Hasbro's most successful brands, "Transformers" is the company's flagship brand. Released nearly 30 years ago, the brand has access to unique entertainment resources spanning countless media. The latest "Transformers: Prime" cartoon has been shown in 175 countries. Transformers has more than 15 million fans on its network platform. Most importantly of all, the brand has been a huge success in the retail sector. From 2007 to date, the brand has delivered retail sales of more than US$7 billion, with 46 million deluxe Transformers figures sold.

The first Transformers show will be held in Beijing on August 15, with the Transformers fan event "Cybertron Con" taking place at the China Millennium Monument. Tens of thousands of fans are expected to gather at the unprecedented gala event between the 15th and 19th of August to join in a multiple activity celebration including story-telling, role-playing, designing, modeling and other forms of entertainment, all of which are based on the Transformers theme.

Following "Cybertron Con" will be the 56-day Transformers China exhibition beginning on August 20. The Transformers China exhibition will incorporate Chinese elements, combining historical themes, a timeline showing how the brand has evolved since inception and the landmark buildings where the events will take place within the exhibition. In addition to the presentation of the Transformers story, the "Cybertron Con" will include the display of a variety of exhibition items, interactive events, special activities and the sale of limited edition products.
