SHANGHAI, Oct. 23, 2012/PRNewswire/ -- Praxair China signed a long-term contract with Oxiranchem Yangzhou Co., Ltd. to supply on-site industrial gases to this new customer at the chemical park located in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province.
Oxiranchem Yangzhou Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Liaoning Oxiranchem, Inc., a National Key High-Tech Enterprise of China in the fine chemical industry. It’s engaged in the production of ethylene oxide and fine chemical new materials of related derivatives.
Praxair China will construct and operate an air separation plant with capacity of 500 tons oxygen per day, which is planned to start up in 2014 in Yangzhou Chemical Industry Park to supply oxygen and nitrogen for the 200,000 tons/year ethylene oxide and 300,000 tons/year derivative fine chemical new material project of Oxiranchem Yangzhou Co., Ltd. located in the same Park.
