Starwood Launches a Dedicated Portal for Resorts on Hainan Island

In Response to Growing Domestic and International Demands for Holidays on the “Hawaii of the East”, offers Hassles-Free Holidays Arrangement for travelers

A dedicated website for Hainan Island aggregates all of Starwood properties on the island into a one-stop portal, offering travelers infinitely more convenience to explore, compare and tailor the desired experience to each resort’s location, brand and lifestyle offerings. Hainan is the country’s most southern province and home to seven existing Starwood properties and five more to open by 2014 including The Royal Begonia, A Luxury Collection Resort, Sanya (June 2012), Four Points by Sheraton Hainan, Sanya (August 2012), The Westin Haikou (December 2012), Sheraton Sanya Tufu Bay (2013) and The Westin Sanya Haitang Bay (2014).

Hainan province is home to incredible secluded beaches, lush rain forest with 4,600 plants and 570 animal species, and Yalong Bay National Tourist Resort, China’s only tropical national resort. This destination is also one of the first in China to offer the new Visa Upon Arrival service. Hainan is currently home to The St. Regis Sanya Yalong Bay, Le Meridien Shimei Bay, Sheraton Haikou, Sheraton Sanya, Sheraton Haitang Bay, Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula and Four Points by Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula.
