TT Yang joins Uniplan with 18 years of consulting experience with global PR, branding and communications organisations. Over the last seven years, she led agency office operation in the Greater China region. In her previous capacity as Greater China Managing Director of Text100 Communications, she successfully built a collaborative One-Region practice across Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taipei and developed integrated traditional and digital media communication capabilities to support the company's vision.

TT has been known as a strong client consultant and people manager with great passion for bringing quality, creativity and collaborative culture to clients and the agency. Her consulting focus lies in the technology, healthcare, luxury, consumer and industrial sectors.

"This is an exciting time to join Uniplan with the growth plan our CEO outlined for Asia and the rest of the world. I will focus on strengthening leadership, talent development, operation efficiency and a potentially broadened service offering to support our goal of being a global leader in live communications," says TT.

Uniplan is growing in China against the trend

More and more often, local agencies are leaving international networks trailing in their wake. As a result, some famous internationally networked agencies have had to beat a retreat from Beijing. For Uniplan, on the other hand, business in China has been a factor for success. The Beijing location has been able to increase its turnover more than fivefold within three years. For 2012/13, the turnover target there alone is set at around EUR 15 million. Overall, Uniplan has completed the 2011/12 financial year with a record turnover of EUR 109 million.

Uniplan will continue to expand its Asia business: Whereas in the 2011/12 financial year around 45 percent of turnover originated in Asia and 55 percent in Europe, it intends to reverse these figures in the current 2012/13 financial year to make 55 percent in Asia. Uniplan aims for turnover growth worldwide of around 15 percent.

"TT Yang thinks analytically, is an extremely target-oriented person and brings valuable experience of the PR sector to the table. Together with her we will implement our ambitious growth plans in Asia and also reinforce the quality of the Group," says Uniplan's CEO, Christian Bruhe.
