More than 100 guests, including C-suite executives, communications professionals and entrepreneurs, are expected to attend the event at the Sofitel Saigon Plaza. The event will mark a culmination of an extensive judging process to recognize stellar communications campaigns and professionals in Vietnam's dynamic public relations arena.
Over the past 3 months, PR Newswire received 50 submissions for 9 award categories that span communications disciplines, from corporate social responsibility, media relations to content and storytelling. The entries were submitted by organizations and agencies from diverse industries, ranging from aviation, technology, fashion, to food and beverage. All entries were submitted via a nationwide call for nominations held from February to April.
One of the judges, Duong Thu Huong, CEO of Forbes Magazine Vietnam, noted that selecting the winners was a difficult task due to the high level of competition and quality of the entries. She said: "I hope that the awards will encourage individuals and collectives to elevate Vietnam's communications and public relations industry closer to global standards."
