Nuzul Al-Quran is a Muslim holiday during the holy month of Ramadan, on which is celebrated at the beginning of the revelation of the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad. Nuzul Al-Quran is only a public holiday in areas of Malaysia with large Muslim populations, which includes most states but excludes east Malaysia and a few areas in west Malaysia as well.
