MELBOURNE, Australia, Oct. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Fusion Broadband, Australia's leading broadband bonding specialist, is marking its fifth year in business with the launch of an Asia-Pacific partner programme, as it continues to expand its footprint in the region.
Fusion Broadband aggregates multiple broadband connections of any type, and from one or more internet service providers, to provide a faster, more reliable broadband service at a much lower cost than most alternatives.
With a solid base of over 80 partners in Australia, Fusion Broadband now aims to sign up 24 new partners throughout South-East Asia. The company's initial focus will be in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Vietnam, as well as in New Zealand and New Caledonia.
Fusion Broadband is seeking expressions of interest from IT service businesses, managed service providers (MSPs) and internet service providers (ISPs) whose business clients have a critical need for enhanced broadband services. Broadband bonding provides small and medium-sized businesses with speeds, stability and connection resiliency that have previously only been affordable to larger enterprises.
Partner Programme Benefits
The Fusion Broadband partner programme consists of five tiers and is designed to benefit IT service providers, system and network integrators, managed service providers (MSPs) and internet service providers (ISPs) of all sizes.
Depending on their level of participation, Fusion Broadband partners are eligible for a range of financial incentives, technical support and marketing assistance. Partner options range from a base-level commission programme for small reseller partners and extend through higher margin white label bonding options to fully integrated bonding solutions within large service providers' own networks.
Key functions such as bonding configuration management; aggregation hosting and network management; IP address supply; customer billing; customer portal and technical support may be provided by Fusion Broadband or the service partner, depending on the programme tier, with higher margins available for those businesses taking on more control of the bonding service.
New Revenue Streams
The broadband bonding service provided by Fusion Broadband is an enabling technology that also opens up the possibility of new revenue streams for its partners.
"High-throughput applications such as cloud software, remote access and voice over IP (VoIP) services require a high quality broadband connection. By bonding together two or more broadband connections to create a faster, more reliable broadband service, Fusion Broadband partners can now offer their customers a variety of third party software, applications and services that were previously not possible due to technical and speed limitations," explains Jason Maude, founder and managing director of Fusion Broadband.
