Harbour City Named Google's Top Trending Destination in Hong Kong

HONG KONG, Dec. 18, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Harbour City, the largest shopping mall in Hong Kong, was named by Google's Year in Search as number one in the Top Trending Mobile Searches for Local Destinations of 2015. Located in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong's core tourist district, the mall was also ranked sixth in Top Trending Search Keywords on Mobile. The results show that "Harbour City" was the most searched destination on mobile over the past 12 months in Hong Kong. Harbour City was Hong Kong's first large-scale shopping mall when it opened in 1966.

Harbour City tops the search engine rankings as three of the restaurants there - Lady M, House of Jasmine and Coffee Academics - were also named 3rd, 6th and 8th respectively in the Top Trending Places for Food on Mobile Search.

Google noted Harbour City's variety of promotions and events, such as "Where's Wally?" and Google Play Game Week, undoubtedly helped the mall take the top spot. The mall is currently running a Christmas presentation in celebration of Hong Kong Disneyland's 10th anniversary.
