The Awards was based on IR Magazine's annual surveys of investors and analysts across the world for its regional awards programs in Europe, Brazil, Canada, US, Greater China and South East Asia. Last year, China Telecom ranked No. 2 in the "Global Top 50 Awards".
The Global Top 50 in 2017 comprises of 21 US companies, followed by 13 companies from Europe.
