Learn & Play! teamLab Future Park at MGM takes full advantage of the digital technology to create interactive installations that emphasize audience participation and co-creation. The experience consists of four interactive settings; Graffiti Nature - Mountains and Valleys, Sketch Christmas / Sketch Town, Sketch Town Papercraft and Light Ball Orchestra. This experience is a prelude to an array of innovative diversified offerings to be found at MGM COTAI, where advanced technology is utilized to bring locals and tourists a whole new spectrum of fun and entertainment.
Graffiti Nature - Mountains and Valleys
Graffiti Nature is created by you. The more animals and flowers that you draw and color, the more this nature world expands around you. Your drawing is somewhere in Graffiti Nature. Can you find it? Animals are eaten by other animals, but if they do not eat they will die and disappear. When the animals that you draw eat other animals, their numbers increase. Butterflies increase in places where there are flowers. All are part of one ecosystem. If you step on crocodiles too much they will die. If you stand still flowers will blossom around you. If you walk around, the flowers will scatter. Search for your animals, and whilst making the flowers bloom, explore the world that everyone has created.

Sketch Christmas
A Christmas world that is born from children's pictures. Draw a picture of Santa Claus on a piece of paper, then, as if by magic he will appear in a town right in front of your eyes! Children can also draw other parts of the town that Santa Claus will come to visit, such as, cars, buildings etc. The Christmas town that is created depends on what pictures the children choose to draw. Each child's picture enters into the town along with the pictures drawn by other children, and the drawings move around and come to life in the town. Children can also decorate the town itself too. As the different pictures enter the town, different scenes evolve. You can also enjoy interacting with the pictures: touch a car, for instance, and it will speed up!

Sketch Town
Sketch Town is a town that grows and evolves according to the pictures drawn by children. After the 2-D drawings of the cars, buildings, UFOs, and spaceships are completed, they are scanned, become 3-D and enter a virtual 3-D townscape. Every component of the town has a role to play; for example, the fire trucks and cranes serve to protect the town. Children can interact with the final townscape by touching individual components to alter their behavior.

Sketch Town Papercraft
Pictures drawn in Sketch Town can be turned into unique 3-D papercrafts, which children can take home. The process of creating 3-D objects helps children understand spatial perspective. This process also links the translation of the 2-D drawing into the 3-D object, breaking down the barriers between the digital and the physical. This activity involves problem solving skills and logical thinking, as children have to identify where to cut, fold, and glue.

Light Ball Orchestra
Rolling a light-ball changes its color and sound. Combined, the light-balls form an orchestra. The overhead balls communicates with the other balls; touch one and the surrounding balls will be affected, changing the color of the entire space. Roll the ball in front of you and it will change color and release sound. In the same space participants use their bodies, touching the different-sized balls to change the color of the space and make music.
