TAIPEI, , Nov. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The "Livestock & Aquaculture Taiwan Expo & Forum 2018" will take place at the Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1 on July 26-28, 2018. The first edition attracted more than 12,000 visitors from 37 countries and regions while the total sales were estimated to be approximately 17 million US dollars. Supported by 17 domestic and overseas associations and exhibitions, there were 194 exhibitors hailing from 16 countries to exhibit 292 booths. 30 brand companies will return to 2018 exhibition and expand booth scales to present more products. They include NABEL, Synbio Tech, Kanvergen, Shiuh Ger, IDAH, Jeida, TECHS Technology and so on.
Featuring "Innovative, Eco-friendly and Sustainable," the organiser UBM Asia Ltd. called on the global manufacturers to participate in this annual grand trade show. Sabine Liu, General Manager of UBM Asia Ltd., Taiwan Branch pointed out that the expansive development of IoT and biologial technology broke down traditional industry's barrier and recreated a new economy internationally. She stressed the gross value of agricultural, aquacultural and livestock products occupied 60%-70% of worldwide general output. The significance of how to increase food production has become a crucial study in every country. This is why the "Livestock & Aquaculture Taiwan Expo & Forum" is triggered. The organiser expects this exhibition to help husbandry farmers improve softwares and hardwares and to provide a better solution for food safety, food crisis, and animal diseases.
In addition to the subsidies of farm and rancher facility and animal odor and waste reduction facility, the Taiwan government released quotas for start-ups and new business to reinvigorate regional agricultural Circular Park as one of the strategies to encourage upgrading animal farming. Based upon the post show report of the "Livestock & Aquaculture Taiwan Expo & Forum 2017," it revealed 80% visitors came from Taiwan, mainland China, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore and Japan. There were 71% decision makers among all and 62% exhibitors received purchase order at the venue. As shown on the statistics, the livestock and aquaculture development in the Pacific Asia area is on urgent re-conversion. At present, over 30 domestic and overseas companies have rebooked the booths and 1,200 square meters has taken.
For instance, the exhibitors Ya Suh Dar Ventilation, Jeida, Chin Jung (Emperor Penguin) and Chen Wei will exhibit various ventilation and livestock farming equipment which help improve animal housing environment. Kanvergen, as the distributor of BASF, will introduce the latest animal additives- Natuphos E that efficiently increases animal's digestibility. Moreover, TECHS Technology will present "HMD High Efficiency Livestock Treatment System" which is designed to solve not only the problems during conventional composting process but also utilize microorganisms to reduce total process time and costs. In response to the circular economy policy and the trend of precision livestock farming, there will be more exhibitors showcasing state-of-the-art products with high performance in 2018. Undoubtedly, it will attract international buyers to visit.
Held concurrently with "Asia Agri-Tech Expo & Forum," the 2nd edition of the "Livestock & Aquaculture Taiwan Expo & Forum" will be launched at Taipei World Trade Center, Hall 1 on July 26.
