SHANGHAI, Jan. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The award ceremony of AT&S Cup Photo Competition themed with "environment protection" was held in China Welfare Institute Children's Palace (CWICP) on Jan 5, 2018. It is now in its 11th year and targets primary and middle school students aging between 7 and 15 in Shanghai.
Students are asked to submit a series of 1-3 images, including a description of the images. Around 1,500 students from approximately 300 schools submitted more 2,000 photos. During the ceremony, 100 winning works are announced including 10 for first prize, 30 for second prize and 60 for third prize.

First launched in 2006, AT&S Cup has played a key role in nurturing the student's life-long interest in environmental related topics by joining hands with Shanghai Environmental Protection Bureau and China Welfare Institute Children's Palace. Over the years, the program has reached out to local communities in Shanghai and encouraged ecological concept in the youth's education.
