She joined the Group's predecessor CTI in 1994 as a Marketing Trainee. From 2002 to 2004, she briefly joined HGC, and rejoined HKBN afterwards. Standing out for her leadership abilities, Elinor was appointed to serve as a ''Mini-CEO'' of Kowloon East District from 2008 to 2012, heading the district's overall residential business by overseeing a wide scope of functions including fibre network expansion, sales and retail management, installation and maintenance, and customer service. Her journey from trainee to CMO -- Residential Services also inspires all HKBNers with the knowledge that great contributions will always be fairly rewarded."

Elinor Shiu said, "I am proud to be part of the team that grew HKBN from a company with less than 100 Talents to one of Hong Kong's largest telecom service providers with over 3,000 Talents. Together with our teams, I will continue to lead the Group's continued growth, by aiming to break market norms and bring superior and top-value services to our customers to make our Hong Kong a better place to live.''
