HONG KONG, March 25, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hong Kong Digital Entertainment Association (HKDEA) will join hands with Tokyo Broadcasting System Holdings, Inc. (TBS), under the sponsorship of Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to organise the "21st Digicon6 ASIA Awards" Presentation Ceremony in Hong Kong in November 2019. It's the first time for the DigiCon6 ASIA Awards to hold the Presentation Ceremony outside Japan.

To commemorate the cooperation between HKDEA and TBS in co-organising the Awards Presentation Ceremony in Hong Kong, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Signing Ceremony was held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) on March 20 to kick-start the cooperation partnership.

A highly prestigious animated short film competition in Asia with over 20 years of history, the DigiCon6 ASIA Awards aim to identity potential creative talent and help promote their digital content. This year, the DigiCon6 ASIA Awards will have 13 participating Asian countries/regions, namely Japan, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, Singapore, Korea, Malaysia, Vietnam, Cambodia, India, Indonesia and the newly added Sri Lanka.
