IEVE, International Electric Vehicle Expo, attracted more than 200 electric vehicle enterprises from all over the world to gather together and discuss the future development of electric vehicle industry.

Stan Zurkiewicz indicated: "The momentum which has been building up in electrification, connectivity and autonomy of vehicles appears to be accelerating. By 2025, 80% of the top 20 OEMs are planning to have L4+ AVs; over 50% of models announced until 2021 will have xEV powertrains. Electrification, connectivity and autonomy of vehicles have become the most significant trend in the future of automotive industry."

With the support of the South Korean government, the sales of EV exceeded 100,000 vehicles for the first time in 2018, and the market share rose from 2% in 2015 to 8.2% in 2018. The venue of this conference - Jeju Island is the first province of South Korea aiming to become home to only zero emissions vehicles by 2030.

DEKRA keeps pace with the times and continuously improves its own technology and testing ability to adapt to the era of Mobility 4.0. Stan Zurkiewicz said: "We operate the Europe's largest, independent Autonomous Driving Testing ground, equipped with ultra-modern systems, which can provide the comprehensive automated driving test and verification services. Recently, we hosted and lead test session of the 5GAA InterOperability Testing Event in Klettwitz. All the participants of 5GAA gathered and validated that many C-V2X products are mature and commercially available for the connected and automated ecosystem that already exists today.

We have more than 10 years of technology and experience in testing and certification of EV industry. Through testing and certification, technical services and consulting, we can truly guarantee the safety of EV. Our laboratories in East and South Asia have become the authorized third party laboratories of Tesla, BYD, NIO and SAIC etc."

Today, with the scarcity of natural resources, DEKRA hopes to do its utmost to ensure the safety and reliability of future mobility, promote the healthy development of the automotive industry and road safety.
