HONG KONG, Nov. 23, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- PublicAffairsAsia has announced the shortlist for The 2017 Gold Standard Awards - the ninth year of the programme. Nomination numbers exceeded previous highs, with over 300 entries lodged across the wide range of categories.
Commenting, awards chairman Shakilla Shajihan said: "Many categories showed significant growth and competition for places on this year's shortlist was intense. The shortlist proves that communications and public affairs are converging fast in Asia Pacific. It also underlines that our industry is responding skilfully to these shifts."
Judges will now proceed to the selection of the winners, with the awards set to be unveiled at the gala awards reception in Hong Kong on November 30. The awards take place alongside the industry leading conference Leaders in Communications Live.
