TAIPEI, Oct. 3, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- ATrack Technology Inc. (TPEX: 6465), a world-class telematics technology company in the smart fleet and asset management market place, is attending TU-Automotive Japan 2019, a professional automobile exhibition in Tokyo, on October 15-16. At which, the company plans to unveil the Telematics Box (T-Box), an in-vehicle communication terminal specially developed for automakers and designed for the installation into new vehicles. ATrack said that its participation in the exhibition represents an important milestone for the company, marking ATrack's entry into the Business-to-Business-to-Consumer (B2B2C) market.

TU-Automotive Japan is a professional exhibition for the Asian automobile and connected car industries, with more than 30% of the participants being world-class automakers and about 20% being tier-one suppliers to automakers. Every year, the event brings together a large number of internationally renowned manufacturers and high-level industry professionals. In addition to a series of new 4G LTE tracking devices for fleets and asset management, ATrack will also showcase high-end T-Box solution for passenger vehicles targeting the customer market jointly with a top North American M2M & IoT Service Provider.

According to ATrack, in addition to the WiFi hotspot sharing function, ATrack T-Box can also connect to vehicle's ECU allowing establishing a 2-way communication. Through mobile APP, car owners can easily control customized functions remotely, including vehicle location tracking, engine start/stop, door lock/unlock, AC on/off, horn & light control, anti-theft system activation and fuel management. ATrack T-Box can also automatically send a message to the local authorities in the event of an accident, and assist car owners to activate the emergency button for immediate support by sending accident-related information to local police, fire and health authorities immediately. This feature can greatly speed up the time-to-rescue and reduce casualties. Additional feature includes a predictive maintenance system which is able to send alerts and warnings to the driver about potential vehicle failure as soon as any car part shows a sign of malfunctioning, helping to avoid traffic accidents and vehicle breakdowns as well as the high cost of tow truck service and emergency repairs to the vehicle while en route. Through ATrack T-Box, automakers can provide a series of value-added applications and services to car owners, significantly enhancing flexibility and convenience for drivers. (www.atrack.com.tw)
