Jimi IoT Headlines Its Expo Seguridad México Appearance with First Solar-Powered Heavy Equipment Tracker

2022-06-29 10:15

MEXICO CITY, June 29, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Jimi IoT, a leading provider of Internet of Things (IoT) telematics devices and cloud services, will showcase its first LTE solar-powered tracker for heavy equipment and other IoT hardware and solutions at the Expo Seguridad México 2022.

The LL303 is a 4G solar-powered tracker designed for management of construction vehicles and vessels, and is equipped with a 10000mAh battery that supports solar charging for over 3 years of outdoor activities. LTE communication with GSM (2G) fallback ensures a solid connection in almost all cases, along with other useful features.

"Initially we'd have a plan of developing an LTE GNSS device that monitors the vibration pattern of heavy equipment, so it has to be made rugged and working properly even in the severe and mudded environment," said Alex, the product director of Jimi IoT.

"Within the process, we were able to update this device to act as a command center using solar power, RFID, and BLE mesh technology on the site, together with flexible connections with BLE peripherals such as fuel level sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, door sensor, etc.  It all helps to maximize utilization and lower the construction cost with digital connectivity."

Other excellent products consumers can check out at this exhibition include:
VL502 - Jimi IoT's first LTE OBDII terminal that can read CAN Bus and K-line data for passenger cars.
VL802 - multifunctional LTE Cat.1 hard-wired vehicle terminal, a considerable update of Jimi IoT's star GT06N.

Expo Seguridad México is the largest event for the security industry in Latin America. The 18th expo will be held at Centro Citibanamex during June 28-30. Jimi IoT is located at Booth #2149.
