TOKYO, March 16, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- British Swimming has added a new member to its partnership team with airweave, the Japanese creator of top-selling bedding products. They recently signed and agreed to provide British aquatic sports with a supply of mattresses for one year from February 29, 2016.

"airweave is proud of our ongoing support of the sport of swimming. As an official partner to the Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA) and USA Swimming, it was a natural transition to partner with British Swimming. We are excited to partner with British Swimming, extending our support to help British swimmers to get rest and quality of sleep they need to be at the top of their game," said Motokuni Takaoka, CEO and president of airweave.

"British Swimming is delighted to welcome airweave into our sponsor family," said National Performance Director for Swimming Chris Spice. "The technology within airweave's mattress toppers helps athletes with their recovery through sleep and therefore helps them better prepare for performance."

As part of this alliance, airweave will exclusively supply its DUAL MODE portable mattress toppers and seat cushions to British Swimming members. The swimming team will receive the airweave products right before the peak season starts, in the beginning of April 2016.
