HONG KONG, April 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The "Soaring Creativity -- Hong Kong Pavilion 2016-17", jointly organised by the Hong Kong Publishing Federation and the Hong Kong Printers Association, sponsored by Create Hong Kong (CreateHK) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), and supported by the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices in Brussels (HKETO, Brussels) recently participates the Bologna Children's Book Fair (BCBF) in the fourth consecutive year.

A total of 27 publishers, 21 printers and 8 electronic publishers joined the fair this year. The exhibitors display over 1,000 outstanding books, printed materials and electronic publications in the "Hong Kong Pavilion" in BCBF 2017. Another highlight of this year's "Hong Kong Pavilion" is the "Creative Corner" which introduces 18 Hong Kong illustrators with their 100% original works.

To sustain the cultural and creativity exchanges between Hong Kong and Italy, the organisers will donate part of the publications exhibited at the "Hong Kong Pavilion" to the University for Foreigners of Siena (Italy) upon the completion of the BCBF 2017. To further promote Hong Kong's culture, free tasting of "Hong Kong-Style Egg Roll in bite-sized" is held inside the "Hong Kong Pavilion" from 3:30pm to 4:30pm daily during the BCBF 2017 from 3 to 5 April.
