TOKYO, Feb. 27, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, as Tokyo Marathon Expo formally begins, the four largest Chinese large-scale organizations in the world of running have gathered in Tokyo for the Tokyo Marathon, including the largest running service provider LAIPAO8(laipao8.com); the most popular social sports APP in China -- Codoon(codoon.com); the largest marathon registration online platform -- Zuicool (reg.zuicool.com/en) and one of the biggest outbound travels agencies in China -- Utour(uzai.com). Exhibition is on the first floor(booth O-06).
Decked with red Chinese knots, the event brings the festive atmosphere of Chinese New Year to the Tokyo Marathon. Besides the 4 organizations mentioned above, race t-shirts, medals and more from Shanghai Marathon, the Great Wall Marathon and more will also be exhibited at the Expo, all of which appeal to runners from around the world.
At the expo, a large number of extraordinary golden ceramic shoes are also on exhibit. The limited edition running shoes blend Chinese and Japanese culture together to celebrate the smooth and steady development of China-Japan relations since the establishment of diplomatic ties 45 years ago.
Some runners on the scene have written down their wishes on paper which has been linked with their shoelaces to bless themselves with safety and fortune. After that, runners receive fine Chinese knots and 3-D World Marathon Major card. Those "blessed" shoelaces together with others for the rest of the other World Marathon Majors will be connected together to become the longest shoelace in the world, which will be used to apply for a Guinness record.
Those four organizations have teamed up to create a runners ecosystem, ranging from basic services which include running stations and bath facilities to mid-level services such as sports products and training camps, to high level services including marathon registration, result searches, online marathons, marathon themed travel and more. The exhibition of these four organizations has promoted a exchange of running culture between China and Japan.
