Avon Announces Senior Marketing Leadership Changes To Drive Fast-Beauty Strategy

LONDON, July 26, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Avon Products, Inc. (NYSE: AVP), a global leader in direct selling of beauty products, today announced a series of senior appointments in global brand marketing.

Anna Chokina has been appointed Vice President, Global Brand Marketing, Skincare and Personal Care a $1.6Bn category, effective September 24th, 2018.  She will drive growth and brings deep brand marketing and beauty experience with a background of an international career.  Anna joins Avon from L'Oreal Paris, where as General Manager, Russia she led the business to consecutive years of growth. Anna also oversaw successful brand strategy development and played a central role in making L'Oreal Paris the number one digital beauty brand in Russia. In addition, she brings a strong Consumer Goods background to this new role, having worked at Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo in the Feminine Care and Snacks categories, respectively.

Elena Degtyareva, currently Vice President, Global Marketing Operations will assume the position of Vice President, Global Fashion and Home a $1.4Bn category. In this role, Elena will be responsible for growing Avon's fashion and home business, which currently delivers a quarter of Avon's global revenue. Elena brings 20 years of experience working with beauty and fashion brands, in addition to her valuable knowledge and insight of Avon. She is a skilled marketer and has worked in both global roles and in Eastern Europe in a variety of strategic and operational positions where she has overseen category growth and embedded marketing excellence.
