Countdown Begins for the Biggest SEA Games Yet

MANILA, Philippines, Nov. 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The biggest South East Asian Games, hosted by the Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee, is about to begin. Top athletes from 11 ASEAN countries are gathering in the Philippines to compete in 56 medal events from November 30 to December 11, 2019. The country is primed and ready for the year's biggest sporting event, with new and refreshed sports facilities just for the occasion in three hubs: New Clark City, Subic Bay, and Metro Manila. Additional venues include Batangas, Laguna, and La Union.

It will not be long until everyone can watch their favorite athletes and teams in action. Tune in on available live streams on TV or online. Better yet, purchase tickets to experience the historic Games firsthand. Basketball 3x3 will be held from December 1 to 2, 2019 at the Filoil Flying V Arena. Basketball 5x5, on the other hand, will be held from December 4 to 7, 2019 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

Football for men and women is happening from December 1 to 5, 7, 8, and 10, 2019 at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex Football Stadium and Biñan Football Stadium. Swimming will be held from December 4 to 5 and 8 to 9, 2019 in the New Clark City Aquatic Center. Volleyball fans can head to the Philsports Multi-Purpose Arena from December 2 to 10, 2019. Boxing is happening from December 4 to 9, 2019 at the PICC Forum 1, 2, and 3. For those on the lookout for taekwondo, come on over to the Ninoy Aquino Stadium from December 7 to 9, 2019 and get tickets priced at PHP 100.
