HONG KONG, Dec. 5, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Spanish Gala Dinner organized by The Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong took place on the 29th of November at The Langham Hotel, celebrating Spanish culture and gastronomy. The highlight of the evening, made possible by Platinum sponsor El Corte Ingles Department Stores, was the Gastronomic experience of the legendary recipes that the Chef, David Puig prepared for the occasion: a journey through the history of Spanish gastronomy from the times of the Romans all the way to Molecular cuisine. The sit-down dinner commenced with the Recognition Awards, given as a gratitude to the Chamber's outstanding members, annual sponsors, and platinum sponsors for their contributions to the business community and continuous support to the Chamber. The night featured two segments of flamenco performances by Clara Ramona Danza Flamenca to the delight of both the local and Spanish guests in the audience as well as background music by Spanish piano composer David Gomez (from his album The Island). The award was presented by the Chamber's President Mrs. Marisa Flores to this Spanish language school for their outstanding work in strengthening the ties between Spain and Hong Kong. The evening was closed with a warm speech by the Consul General of Spain in Hong Kong, Mr. Miguel Bauza More.
