TIANJIN, China, Jan. 5, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- On December 29, Hitachi Elevator (China) Co., Ltd. held the delivery ceremony of the 2020's 120,000th elevator at its factory in Tianjin. Wang Zhidong, Deputy District Head of Baodi District, Tianjin; Jia Yuhui, President of Hitachi Elevator; Liang Yaoqiang, Vice President of Hitachi Elevator; and other relevant leaders attended the ceremony to witness the delivery of the annual 120,000th elevator for China National Convention Center Phase II Project in Beijing.
Hitachi Elevator Delivers the 2020's 120,000th Elevator to China National Convention Center
China National Convention Center Phase II, with the convention and exhibition center as the main building, and hotels, offices and businesses as supporting buildings, will be integrated with Phase I upon completion. In the future, it will become an important part of the "Reception Room" of Beijing. Hitachi Elevator has provided 48 elevators and relevant services for main works of China National Convention Center Phase II in Beijing.
In 2020, the quantities of elevators sold, produced, delivered and installed by Hitachi Elevator have all exceeded 110,000. Among them, the quantity of elevators delivered reached 120,000, setting a new industry record again. At the ceremony, Jia Yuhui, President of Hitachi Elevator said that the delivery of the annual 120,000th elevator was not just a matter of numbers, but marked a new milestone in Hitachi Elevator's intelligent manufacturing capacity.
