MUNICH, May 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- On May 27, a delegation from the local government and enterprises of southeast China's Quanzhou City in Fujian Province began a two-day business visit to Munich, a major German industrial town. The delegation aims to lend fresh steam to the flourishing economic and trade relations between the two places and create more opportunities for enterprises of the two sides to maintain and expand mutual benefits and win-win cooperation.
At a business promotion held on the same day, Quanzhou Mayor Wang Yongli, local commerce bureau officials, and representatives of enterprises including JOMOO introduced Quanzhou, Fujian's largest city in terms of GDP, to the guests on its strong development momentum, huge development potential, and good business and investment environment. The event attracted representatives from about 30 German companies and business associations. Pei Yonggui, Counsellor of the Chinese Consulate General in Munich, also attended the event.
In Munich, Quanzhou has established partnerships with German companies in many sectors such as sensors, sanitary ware, machinery and clean energy. The Quanzhou delegation this time brought more than 60 investment projects covering new generation information technology and machinery manufacturing industries in the hope to explore wider cooperation with Germany. As one of the representatives of Quanzhou enterprises at the event, JOMOO is a case in point for steadily promoting globalization at home and abroad. Founded 29 years ago, JOMOO has risen from a small startup to a comprehensive manufacturer of integrated kitchen and bathroom products covering the whole value chain from R&D, production, sales and services, according to the company's board chairman Lin Xiaofa.
JOMOO has sold its products in over 80 countries and regions across the world, with a cumulative global sales of more than 1 billion pieces. It has actively participated in the development of the Belt and Road Initiative by establishing in-depth cooperation with 32 countries in the region with 8 overseas R&D and innovation centers. The company aims to be a pioneer in global pan-household customization and rake in 100 billion yuan in sales by 2025.
Since its entry into Germany two years ago, JOMOO has established cooperation with multinational enterprises such as Siemens, focusing not only on increasing the sales of its products in the European market, but also on building its own brand and creating a good industrial ecological environment, Lin said, adding that it seeks to establish long-term win-win partnership through strategic cooperation with German enterprises. JOMOO contributed to Quanzhou's foreign investment inflow by signing a joint venture project during the visit with another German enterprise Dorst's machinery equipment branch to carry out all-round cooperation in technical design, brand building and manufacturing in Quanzhou.
