HO CHI MINH CITY, Vietnam, Feb. 28, 2020 /PRNewswire/ -- LOTTE Vietnam Shopping Joint Stock Company donated 30,000 medical masks of Choice L brand to the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ho Chi Minh City to help reverse the Covid-19 epidemic.

Given the complicated situation of Covid-19, the demand of medial masks has rapidly increased, leading to scarcity among hospitals and clinics. Furthermore, doctors, who are at the frontline monitoring, quarantining, diagnosing and treating Covid-19 infected patients, will need medical masks more than ever.

Aware of the imperative, LOTTE Mart, together with the Department of Industry and Trade, and the Department of Health joined forces to donate 30,000 medical masks to support the Hospital for Tropical Diseases in the unpredictably perilous situation of the Covid-19 epidemic. Recently, the hospital has successfully cured Corona infection for a Vietnamese American patient with a history of many dangerous underlying diseases.

Currently, 14 LOTTE Mart stores are being ensured the highest hygiene level. All employees are equipped with medical masks and dry hand sanitizers located in many places of the supermarket. Communication has been timely rolled out to provide adequate information on prevention of Covid-19, contributing to protecting the health of customers, helping them can be reassured to shop and prevent the Covid-19 spread in the community.
