Director Yang introduced the economic achievements of Sichuan in 2017 to the guests, and strongly recommended the 17th Western China International Fair 2018.
Yang said that the 17th WCIF would be held from Sept. 20 to Sept. 24 at Western China International Expo City, with Italy as the guest of honor, and a total exhibition area of 200,000 square meters. At present, various works, such as event organization, investment and exhibition promotion, guest invitation, and publicity, have been launched. At the activity, guests including Deputy Consul-General of Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing Davide Castellani and Chairman of British Chamber of Commerce Southwest China Richard Han, on behalf of all the attendees, delivered speechs. A leading group of Sichuan Bureau of Expo Affairs, staff from Royal Thai Consulate-General, Chengdu and Consulate General of Hungary in Chongqing carried out cultural and entertainment performances.
