VMware Fast Tracks Transformation of Partner Ecosystem across Southeast Asia and Korea for Region's Increasingly Digital Future

• More than 1,200 participants across VMware's regional partner ecosystem attended EMPOWER Online and Partner Executive Briefings, fostering greater collaboration and capacity building

(NYSE: VMW), a leading innovator in enterprise software, affirmed its pledge to strengthen the partner ecosystem across the Southeast Asia and Korea (SEAK) region following the successful launch of EMPOWER Online APJ, along a series of Partner Executive Briefings, which saw the participation of more than 1,200 attendees in VMware's partner ecosystem in Asia Pacific and Japan. During the events, VMware and its partners came together for a deep dive into how the community can further spur digital transformation and agility for businesses to adapt to the region's increasingly mobile-first business environment.

EMPOWER Online APJ is a key part of VMware's multi-pronged approach to harness the partner ecosystem to amplify its ability to help businesses enhance enterprise mobility and accelerate innovation, as they adapt to the rapidly evolving economic landscape. In addition, VMware also showcased its commitment to over 300 partner business owners in the SEAK region with a series of Partner Executive Briefings. These briefings detailed VMware's priorities and strategy for partners under the current economic climate and how the company will strengthen support for partners, including enabling resources, building practices, developing pipelines, and rewarding success.

• Increasing financial support for partners: Co-Fund a VCAP resource for Funded Head investment into VMware Principal Partners with 50% off for Partner Connect Program Fee for all VMware partners until the end of January 2021
• Developing Advanced Solution Practices: Ignite Program to help partners develop advanced solution practices with resource enablement, customer engagement and incentives, along with Amplify Program to incentivize partners for successful implementation of VMware solutions
