MACEIO, Brazil, Dec. 20, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- XCMG (SHE:000425) has delivered 102 units of GR1803BR graders to the State of Alagoas located in northeastern Brazil as part of the state's "strengthen (Fortalece in Portuguese)" infrastructure initiative which was launched in 2021 to provide transportation guarantees for the 4.9 million local residents.

The graders will be used in the construction and expansion of roads and other urban renovation projects in Alagoas. The GR1803BR is an easy-to-operate model with flexible maneuverability, high reliability and adaptivity, and can cope with all kinds of different construction conditions and scenarios with ease.

"XCMG Brazil has overcome many difficulties in the last couple of years including the COVID-19 outbreak, exchange rates, and freight costs. This has led employees in Brazil to ensure production and supply while achieving business growth against the trend. Next year, we're well positioned to seize market opportunities in anticipation of even greater breakthroughs," said Wang Yansong, VP of XCMG and Chairman of XCMG Brazil.

Established in 2014 in Pouso Alegre of Minas Gerais, XCMG Brazil is the group's first wholly-owned overseas manufacturing base, which has four main production plants and more than a dozen auxiliary facilities that combine to achieve an annual production capacity of 7,000 units, including cranes, excavators, loaders, graders and road rollers.

XCMG Brazil has not only set up a sales and service network across all Brazilian states, but also expanded its operations to other South American countries —On December 14, the first batch of 60 mining machines signed by XCMG Brazil and Chile was delivered in Santiago, Chile.

The company also signed an MoU with Vale S.A. Brazil in October for potential supply of mining and infrastructure equipment, including zero-emission and unmanned equipment that will accelerate green and sustainable mining practices.

To expand production capacity and ensure high product quality, as well as to improve the skills and knowledge of front-line employees, XCMG Brazil established the first employee practical operation training center (the "Center") in November.

In the meantime, Banco XCMG S.A. has a total credit supply exceeding US$36.68 million and annual revenue of US$2.91 million, with total profit reaching US$545,943. It has added more than US$20.58 million of unsecured credit, obtained foreign exchange settlement and sales qualification and has become a SWIFT member.
