BAODING, China, Nov. 30, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (NYSE: YGE) ("Yingli Green Energy" or the "Company"), a leading solar energy company and one of the world's largest vertically integrated photovoltaic manufacturers, which markets its products under the brand "Yingli Solar," today announced that it has entered into aggregately over 1,000 megawatts (MW) of PV module contracts for 2011 delivery, exceeding its sales target one month ahead of previously announced schedule. Customers under majority of those contracts were required to make prepayments to the Company in order to ensure committed delivery in 2011.
