RICS Hong Kong Annual Conference Lights up Green Buildings

HONG KONG, May 9, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- RICS Hong Kong Annual Conference will again be organized in Hong Kong this year with a theme on "Why, What and How -- The Truth Behind Sustainability: Building Towards a Vision".  The event will be held at Conrad Hong Kong Hotel at 9:00am on 14th May 2011 (Saturday) with Mrs Carrie Lam, Secretary for Development, HKSAR Government, as an Opening Keynote Speaker.

Reflecting the rising importance of sustainability, this year's conference will focus on the topic of sustainability in the built environment, which is a fundamental issue that the real estate industry in Hong Kong needs to take into consideration. It is central to the growth of the Hong Kong real estate market and a key to the city's long-term success as a regional hub. In addition, the conference will feature with sharing from renowned international experts from UK, USA and Singapore and also interesting thematic panel discussions aiming to offer a platform for industry players to interact.
