SHANGHAI, Oct. 6, 2011 /PRNewswire-Aisa/ -- To support the education of entry-level risk managers in Chinese-speaking countries, the Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA) is now offering its Associate Professional Risk Manager (Associate PRM) certificate exam and all accompanying study materials in Chinese.
The Associate PRM was first introduced in English in 2008 and is recognized as the standard for core competency assessment in risk management. This certificate program is intended for individuals entering the risk management profession or those who interface with risk management disciplines on a regular basis, such as auditing, accounting, legal and systems development professionals who want to understand fundamental risk management methods and practices.
Designed to be mathematically and theoretically less-detailed than PRMIA's Professional Risk Manager (PRM(TM)) certification, the associate program covers the core concepts of risk management, allowing non-specialists to interpret risk management information and reports, make critical assessments and evaluate the implications and limitations of such results. PRMIA members who pass the Associate PRM exam will receive a certificate and are exempt from PRM Exam IV.
"The professionalization of risk management is taking hold in China," says Nicholas Zhu, Asia Head, Macro-Commodity Research, ANZ Bank, Shanghai. "The fast growing economy demands ever more risk managers. Getting an Associate PRM certificate is a first step for any aspiring professionals in joining the fast-growing field of risk management."
Easy to obtain study materials and widely available exam options provide Associate PRM candidates with optimum flexibility to fit the preparation and testing process into their individual work schedules. The exam is offered globally at Pearson VUE Testing Centers.
