NANJING, China, June 1, 2012 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- ET Solar Group Corp. ("ET Solar"), one of the globally leading solar PV one-stop solution providers, today announces construction execution of two ground-mounted PV power plants in Germany with total installed capacity of 12.6MW.
ET Solutions AG, ET Solar's wholly owned subsidiary, is the EPC contractor for the 7.6MW and 5MW PV plants that are located in Hohen Wangelin (150 kilometers north of Berlin) and Ratzlingen (30 kilometers east of Wolfburg) respectively. Project construction is well on the way and the completion is expected by the end of June this year.
Mr. Dennis She, President and Chief Executive Officer of ET Solar, commented: "Further to the 9.6MW projects that we completed for Wattner as the EPC contractor earlier this year, we are set to complete another sizeable volume ahead of the potential tariff cut by June this year. This showcases our continuous commitment for our customers and our strong EPC and financing capabilities."
Dr. Linhui, Sui, head of ET Solutions, commented: "The projects are complex and the time frame is tight. However, we will leverage our strong team experience and robust execution capabilities to ensure timely completion. With more and more countries starting to add solar as an important source of energy, all the know-how and experience we obtained in Germany over the past few years will be great assets as we facilitate the development of these new markets."
Mr. Guido Ingwer, Managing Partner of Wattner, added: "Despite the regulatory uncertainties and a more difficult financing environment, we feel very comfortable with the project execution and completion timeliness with ET Solar being the EPC contractor given the outstanding track record that the firm has built up in the past few years."
