ABBARCH-TPO is highly experienced in the design of automobile manufacturing facilities and employs innovative and specialist engineers and designers to program, design, facilitate approvals, provide technical supervision and manage projects that ensure the delivery and commissioning of assembly plants, research facilities, paint shops, stamping and welding shops, engine and gear box plants, pre assembly logistics buildings and all other 'back-of-house' facilities that support the complex functioning of a manufacturing plant.

"Our business focus is to provide full architectural and engineering design services through strategic alliances in Asia, North America, the European Union and the Russian Federation," said David O'Sheehan, architect and partner of ABBARCH-TPO. "We have a long-term joint venture with Technoprojekt, a leading engineering design company from the Czech Republic that has abundant auto sector experience in emerging markets. Through this joint venture, we are able to bring valuable experience to the Chinese auto market for assembly and components manufacturing facilities and 4S shops."

ABBARCH-TPO also undertakes audits and feasibility studies of existing manufacturing facilities and makes recommendations for improvements to delivery processes and building functions, including energy consumption optimizations and value engineering. The firm is capable of supporting clients in the process of transferring production to new locations.

Green technologies play a significant role in ABBARCH-TPO's design philosophy.

"We have invaluable experience in careful site selection, evaluation of 'brown field sites,' storm water management, heat recycling systems and geothermal systems. We also pay special attention to efficient mechanical and electrical systems, including building envelope, roof designs and efficient site and landscape designs and species selection," said Raymond Lum, director of ABBARCH Greater China.

ABBARCH-TPO recognizes the importance of quality control procedures and advances in technology and maintains company-wide Quality Management Systems (QMS) that are ISO 9001: 2008 compliant. It employs state-of-the-art CADD software using Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Energy Modeling Software to accurately evaluate and communicate the design intent to all parties. At the retail and after sales level, ABBARCH-TPO's dealership designs reflect current corporate standards and meet the demands of both the client and customer alike.

"As China's vehicle and components manufacturers enter the international market, and foreign companies increase and enhance their cooperation with their local Chinese partners, we believe that our international technology and service levels will add value. Because we have completed projects for many international assemblers in markets outside their home country, we know how to provide a reasonable and competitive cost structure," said Raymond Lum.

In order to assist its entry into the China auto market, ABBARCH-TPO has retained the services of JFP Holdings, Ltd., a Beijing-based merchant banking firm that was founded by Jack Perkowski in 2009. As the founder and CEO of ASIMCO Technologies, Jack Perkowski, together with the rest of the JFP Holdings team, brings 20 years of experience and a wide network of contacts in China's auto industry. "We are delighted to be working with ABBARCH-TPO to bring their expertise to the Chinese auto industry," Perkowski said. As China's auto industry becomes truly global, the know-how provided by companies such as ABBARCH-TPO is essential."
