HONG KONG, April 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- According to the Shareholding Disclosure of Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Dr. Sit Kwong Lam, Chairman and & CEO of Brightoil Petroleum (Holdings) Limited has increased his shareholding in the Group through Canada Foundation Limited - an entity wholly owned by him - by buying 30,169,000 shares of Brightoil Petroleum from the market between 11 March 2013 and 24 April 2013.
After the shareholding increase, Dr. Sit's shareholding in the Group has increased from approximately 74.49% to approximately 74.84%*.
*Excluding 799,979,333 Shares to be allotted and issued to Canada Foundation Limited upon exercise in full of the conversion rights attaching to the convertible notes issued by the Company on 27 October 2009.
