HONG KONG, April 10, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- China Construction Bank (Asia) ["CCB (Asia)"] originated from The Bank of Canton, which was founded in 1912. Over the past century, the bank has nurtured its business in the local banking industry alongside the development of Hong Kong. To share the bank's heritage and key milestones of the last century, CCB (Asia) holds a retrospective exhibition with the theme "A Century of Heritage for a Prosperous Future", to showcase over 100 years of the bank's presence in Hong Kong and its long journey of growth.

"In Retrospect -- The History of CCB (Asia) in Hong Kong Since 1912" exhibition is open to the public from now until April 30, 2014 and is free of charge. The exhibition is located at 1/F, CCB Tower, 3 Connaught Road Central, Central, Hong Kong, with opening hours from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

The last century has witnessed not only the establishment, development and strong growth of CCB (Asia), but also its commitment to the advancement of the local banking industry alongside the rapid development of Hong Kong. In order to display the historic milestones of CCB (Asia), the exhibition uses several innovative methods.

Memento Display

To enhance the public's understanding of CCB (Asia), the exhibition showcases a large quantity of invaluable photos and mementos, including annual reports of different years, bank manuscripts and a plaque of The Bank of Canton.

3D Time Tunnel

"Time Travel" exhibition zone recreates a CCB (Asia) branch of different time periods through 3D image reconstruction technology, enabling audiences to see the various changes to the bank's branches over time.

Interactive Game Zone

The exhibition has made a breakthrough in the way it presents information to visitors with an interactive game zone. This allows the public to find out more about CCB (Asia) through a fun game which uses advanced projection sensor technology. Audiences can also take photos of themselves after the game and send the photo to their personal email addresses as a memento.
