HONG KONG, June 1, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Fast growing high-tech companies can now apply for participation in the 2015 Deloitte Technology Fast 50 China Program (TF50 Program), a platform for recognizing high growth and elite companies within the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau. Application is also open for the "Deloitte China Rising Star" Program, specifically designed for companies with viable business models and technologies, but which are yet to fulfil the requirements of the TF 50 Program. Deadline for both applications will be on 2 September 2015.

"Deloitte reckons the pivotal role played by high technology companies in driving the next wave of economic growth in China. This is in sync with the new 'internet plus' policy for China that will see the nation's focus on domestic technology adoption in order to boost domestic growth. Over the years, many companies of the TF50 Program have emerged to become technology giants not just in China but globally. Notable winners include Tecent, Baidu, Alibaba and Qihoo360," said Mr. Hou Po, Managing Partner, Technology, Media and Telecommunications Industry, Deloitte China.

To be eligible for participation in the TF50 Program, companies must have a minimum three years of business operation and with their headquarters within the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau. Companies need to achieve at least RMB 500,000 in operating revenue during fiscal year 2012. The program is open for hardware, software, communications, media, life sciences and clean technology companies. There is no specific requirement for the "Deloitte China Rising Star" Program, but companies are required to provide a written description about their background, management team, core competitiveness, business models, products, technologies, industries and market recognition.

"Since its inauguration in Silicon Valley in 1995, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program has become the global benchmark for fast-growing technology companies after being replicated in many other countries. In China, our TF 50 Program has also been recognised as the Oscar award for high technology companies. TF50 winners can benefit from increased visibility, brand recognition, and other growth companies. More importantly, this is a platform for companies to share their success stories and get connected with potential investors," said Mr. Hou.

The award ceremony will be on 28 October, 2015. Over 200 participants, including C-suite executives, scholars, government officials, journalists, private equity and venture capitalists, are expected to join.
