Marbury, a two-time NBA All-Star, having previously played for Phoenix Suns and New York Knicks, joined the Beijing Ducks in the Chinese Basketball Association ("CBA") league, in 2011. In his first season, he led the Beijing team to their first ever championship title in the 2011/2012 season.
