XIAN, China, Jan. 16 /Xinhua-PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ALONG Mobile Technologies Inc. (OTC: AGMB), a leading provider of wireless interactive entertainment products and services to customers in China, today announced its fourth quarter unaudited financial results, ending December 31, 2006.
Net Revenue for the fourth quarter of 2006 was $2,554,255, an increase of 73.5% compared with Net Revenue of $1,472,480 for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2005 and also an increase of 75.8% compared with Net Revenue of $1,453,036 for the fiscal third quarter of 2006.
Net Income for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2006 was $1,495,739, an increase of 119% compared with Net Income of $682,473 for the fiscal fourth quarter of 2005 and also an increase of 94.5% compared with Net Income of $768,984 for the fiscal third quarter of 2006.
Mr. Wang Zhen, the CFO of ALONG Mobile, stated, "A large portion of the increase in revenues in the fourth quarter of 2006 was due to the success of ALONG's continuous efforts to expand its network of downloading terminals from the third quarter of 2006." He went on to say, "Our revenue also increased significantly due to some changes in our sales strategy. As we adopted a new way to sell our products- via a Member Card, customers can enjoy a discount by pre-buying our member cards."
