HONG KONG and LOS ANGELES, May 17, 2011 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Artificial Life, Inc., (OTC BB: ALIFE), a leading provider of award-winning mobile technology and applications (the "Company"), announced today that its audit for the year ended December 31, 2010 and the accompanying Form 10-K has not yet been finalized.
As previously announced on April 21, 2011, the Company (ALIFE) engaged BDO, AG as its new independent auditors. At the time of the appointment, the Company announced that it then expected and anticipated filing its 10-K by the 15th of May, 2011 as agreed to by BDO.
However, at the current time the audit has not finally been completed. The Company is working diligently on finishing the audit process and will make its 10-K filing as soon as possible accordingly.
Once its 10-K for 2010 has been filed, the Company will prepare and file its 10-Q report for the first quarter ended March 31, 2011 as well.
The Company has filed a Form 12b-25 announcing that the 10-Q filing for Q1 2011 will accordingly be late as it requires the prior conclusion of the 10-K report for 2010.
