BEIJING, Nov. 29, 2010 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Charm Communications Inc. (Nasdaq: CHRM) ("Charm" or the "Company"), a leading advertising agency in China, today announced that through Shangxing Media, its principal media business unit, the Company has renewed exclusive advertising rights contracts with Shanghai Dragon Television and with three CCTV programs.
Charm will continue to act as the exclusive advertising agency for Shanghai Dragon Television in 2011. This will be the fourth year that Charm will act as the exclusive agency for this channel. At the end of 2011 Charm has the first right of refusal to renew the contract.
Charm will also continue to act as the exclusive advertising agent for the three CCTV programs throughout 2011. This will be the second year that Charm will act as the exclusive advertising agency for these programs. At the end of 2011 Charm has the first right of refusal to renew the contract.
