China National Tourism Administration Presented "Feima Award" to Mr. Qu Naijie, Chairman of Haichang Holdings

HONG KONG, May 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Haichang Holdings Ltd. ("Haichang Holdings" or the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group", Stock Code: HK.02255), the largest developer and operator of marine theme parks in China, announced that Mr. Qu Naijie, Chairman of Haichang Holdings was awarded the "Feima Award" by the China National Tourism Administration ("CNTA").

"Feima Award" is highly recognized as it is presented for the first time by CNTA on 15 May to the top 10 private enterprise owners in China who have made significant contributions to the tourism industry. CNTA would like to encourage private investment in the tourism industry, which has become the major source of investment in the sector, as the Chinese economy is entering the "new normal" phase. The prosperous development of China's tourism industry is closely related to the contributions from a large number of outstanding private enterprises. It is worth mentioning that all of the awarded enterprises have invested over RMB 10 billion in China's tourism industry.

Mr. Qu Naijie, founder and of the Group, has entered the theme park business in China since 2001. Mr. Qu opened the first marine theme park of Haichang Holdings, Dalian Laohutan Ocean Park, in Dalian in 2002, which turned out to be a great success. The park has been rated as a 5A-class tourist attraction by the National Tourism Administration, becoming a strong impetus to the development of Dalian tourism industry. Following the success of Dalian Laohutan Ocean Park, Mr. Qu further developed seven different types of theme parks in the subsequent decade in China, building Haichang Holdings into one of the top 10 theme park operators worldwide.
