China Public Security Technology Prepares the Completion of Intelligent Border Control System in Futian Port Following Successful Utilization of Intelligent Border Control System in Shenzhen Bay Port

Currently, the Intelligent Border Control System in Shenzhen Bay Port is running well and has achieved the expected objective since President Hu Jintao passed the border on the 1st of July.

On the 1st of July, after the opening ceremony for the Shenzhen Bay Port between Hong Kong and Shenzhen, President Hu Jintao walked out from the check point lanes of Shenzhen Bay Port and became the first ever passenger to experience the speed and efficiency of Intelligent Border Control System. Passengers can pass through the border in several seconds through the Intelligent Border Control System. There are about 5,531 passengers who passed through the Shenzhen Border in just six hours on 1st of July. Until now, the Intelligent Border Control System undertaken by the Company has been running well even during peak times, which demonstrates the Company's high technology and reliable quality.

The Shenzhen Bay Port Phase I project has been successfully completed. The Company is now getting the system ready for the opening of the Futian Port. The Futian Port is the third Intelligent Border Control System project implemented by China Public Security. Currently, the Company dominates the market of Intelligent Border Control System in Shenzhen. There are over 200 borders where the Intelligent Border Control System is going to be installed, it is expected the Company will have even more opportunities based on its successful track record.

The Company's Intelligent Border Control System stores biometric information such as fingerprints and facial features from passengers in a database, and integrates it with infrared and license plate recognition technologies to enable the automation of border control checkpoints for faster and more accurate processing of passengers, while at the same time helping to safeguard borders from stowaway activities, and greatly improving overall efficiency and effectiveness of border control management.
