China VoIP & Digital Telecom Subsidiary Wins Additional Virtualization Contract from Shandong Xinhua Medical Instrument Co., Ltd.

2010-06-09 19:40 1025

JINAN, Shandong, China, June 9 /PRNewswire-Asia/ -- Jinan Yinquan Technology Co., Ltd. ("Yinquan"), one of the wholly-owned subsidiaries of China VoIP & Digital Telecom (OTC Bulletin Board: CVDT), today announced that it has signed an additional virtualization contract with Shandong Xinhua Medical Instrument Co., Ltd. ("Shandong Xinhua"). This additional contract is a new project requested by the customer to support the virtualization contract signed in April.

For this new project, Yinquan will provide Shandong Xinhua with desktop virtualization solutions and equipment. Desktop virtualization separates a personal desktop computer from the physical machine through a client-server computing model. The resulting "virtualized" desktop is stored on a remote central server, instead of on the local storage of a remote client. Thus, when users work from their remote desktops, all the programs, applications, processes, and data are maintained and run centrally. This solution can help users reduce costs, increase security and facilitate management, achieving higher energy-savings, lower emissions and more environmentally-friendly goals.

"The additional contract from Shandong Xinhua Medical Instrument shows the client's confidence in our products and services," said Mr. Li Kunwu, the President and CEO of China VoIP. "We are very glad that they selected Yinquan as their complete virtualization solutions provider. Through our continuing sales and promotions efforts, we also see potential for increased demands from other existing customers. There are growth prospects throughout China's virtualization market. Our strategic marketing is focused on creating a thriving business model, and it's equally gratifying to know that our company is improving the environment, while assisting with China's overall economy."

About Virtualization Technology

Virtualization is a proven software technology that is rapidly transforming the IT landscape and fundamentally changing the way people compute.

Today's powerful x86 computer hardware was originally designed to run only a single operating system and a single application, but virtualization breaks that boundary, making it possible to run multiple operating systems and multiple applications on the same computer at the same time, increasing the utilization and flexibility of hardware.

Virtualization is a technology that can benefit anyone who uses a computer, from IT professionals and Mac enthusiasts to commercial businesses and government organizations. Join the millions of people around the world who use virtualization to save time, money and energy while achieving more with the computer hardware they already own.
